Pamela Watters Black, 65, passed away November 9, 2013, at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, Louisiana.
Born May 5, 1948, she was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Watters; mother, Ola Mae Watters; and brothers: Barry and James Watters.
She resided in Mentone, Alabama, most of her life, where she enjoyed the tranquility of her mountain home and the community of her neighbors and good friends. She graduated from Fort Payne High School in 1966, where she was a majorette, Senior and School Beauty, and homecoming queen. She was a best friend to all who knew her and a caregiver to those in need.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Black and wife, Melanie, currently in Montana; grandchild, Elijah Matthew Black; and many other relatives
