Rhonda Kay Goad, 64, of Oneida, passed away September 21, 2013, at LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette.

Born in Oneida, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Rommie and Juanita Duncan Goad; grandparents: Reuben and Elizabeth Holloway Goad, and William Ezra and Amanda Keeton Duncan; uncle and aunts: Osborne Duncan, Bernice Duncan, Veda Ross, Eva Barnes, Sadie Barnes, and Mazene Poynter; and great-niece, Jessica Nicole Davis.

She was a born again Christian, and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sisters: Sedora Fancher and husband. Ray, and Beverly Davis and husband, Caldwell, all of Oneida; nephew, Rev. Jerry Davis and wife, Julie, of Hopewell, Va.; great-nieces and nephew: Amanda Davis King, and Ashley Davis, both of Hopewell,  Va., and Adam Davis of Fredericksburg, Va.; great-great-nephew and niece: Isaac King, and Emmalynn King; uncle, Thomas Duncan of Maysville, Ky.; numerous special cousins, special friend, Vivian Ellis; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted September 26, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Davis, Bro. Jerry Davis, and Bro. Jim West officiating. Music was provided by Adam Davis, and The Davis Family. Graveside service was conducted September 27, at Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.

Jones & Son Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
