Leisha Rae Roark Terry, 47, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, formerly of Oneida, passed away suddenly June 15, 2013, at her father's home in Oneida.
Born in Scott County, September 8, 1965, she was preceded in death by her parents, James E. (Doe) and Juanita Bales Roark; infant sister, Stella Elizabeth Roark; step-mother, Sandra Roark; grandparents: George and Maude Bales, and Boyd and Stella Roark; mother-in-law, Maggie Terry; and nephew, Chris Sexton.
She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Terry of Rock Springs, Wyo.; children: Travis Scott Terry, Isaiah Trent Bell, and William Jacob Terry, all of Rock Springs, Wyo.; grandson, Milo James Terry; brother, James H. (Jamie) Roark and wife, Lisa, of Whitley City, Ky.; sisters: Jeannie Ann Roark of Pine Knot, Ky., and Angela June Roark of Cleveland; father- and mother-in-law, Jennings and Velma Terry of Oneida; sisters-in-law: Mona Sexton of Helenwood, and Paula Lynn and Russell Strunk of Oliver Branch, Miss.; nieces and nephews: Stephanie and Erick Green, Marcy Roark, Shannon and Chris Harness, Stacey Sexton, Star and Cheyenne, Zack Roark, and Toby Roark; great-niece, Jaycee; and many other relatives.
The family was to have received friends Wednesday, June 19, from 6 p.m., until time of funeral service at 8 p.m., in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home. Graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon, Thursday, June 20, at Terry Cemetery in Oneida.
