HUNTSVILLE — The man accused of killing a 31-year-old Robbins man after what he claimed to be a robbery will face a grand jury on homicide charges, though it remains unclear exactly what those charges will be.

Gerald R. Nelson, 50, of Helenwood, was bound over to the grand jury following a hearing in Scott County General Sessions Court Wednesday afternoon. Nelson is accused of killing 31-year-old Dustin Gunter, of Robbins, on April 13.

While Wednesday's hearing lasted just 40 minutes, a number of previously-unreleased details came to light, painting a picture of what happened inside Nelson's home in the Low Gap neighborhood south of Huntsville late in the evening of April 13.
