Christine Sharpe Taphorn, 90, of Harrison, Ohio, formerly of Scott County, passed away July 23, 2010, at her home.
Born in Norma, December 12, 1919, she was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Walter and Nannie Bell Jeffers Sharpe; step-son, Richard Taphorn; and brothers: Don, Vernon, and Earl Sharpe.
She was a veteran of the United States Army.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Taphorn; step-daughter, Peggy Tenkman and husband, Carl; three grandchildren, sisters: Betty Jean Jones and Geraldine Davis; brother, Marley Lee Sharp; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Graveside service was conducted July 27, at Fairview Memorial Gardens with Bro.Larry Jones officiating.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements.
