Amanda Chambers Sexton

Amanda Chambers Sexton is the current Scott County Clerk. She was elected to that position on Aug. 6, 2026, and assumed office on Sept. 1, 2026. Prior to that, she was an unsuccessful candidate for clerk in the 2022 general election.

Sexton was the Republican candidate in the 2026, and won a three-way race against incumbent Felicia Bilbrey and Christina Kay Cross. She received 3,243 votes, or 54% of the total. Bilbrey, who had served as clerk since 2018, received 43% of the total vote.
