1935 map of Scott County

In 1935, the Tennessee Valley Authority published this detailed map of Scott County, which depicts the roads, railroads, rivers and smaller streams, as well as lumber and coal operations, and various buildings like churches and schools, and cemeteries. Triangles denote elementary schools, while elementary and high schools are triangles enclosed with rectangles. Triangles with a marking in one corner indicate the exact location of the school. School bus routes are designated with a dotted line.
