Pete Waid Lawson, 30, of Helenwood, passed away March 26, 2019, at Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida. Born in Knoxville, January 16, 1989, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Troy and Mary Ann Seabolt and Silas and Lucinda Lawson; and aunt, Susie Nagy.
Most who knew him called him “Petey”, and he loved working on vehicles. He was always smiling regardless the situation, and he could always bring a smile to your face. He graduated in 2007 from Landmark Christian School.
He is survived by his children, Susan, Waid, and Krew Lawson, all of Robbins; parents, Pete and Penny Seabolt Lawson; mothers of his children, Angela Garrett and Amelia Burke; sisters, Trina (Mark) Byrd of Oneida, and Tiffany Seabolt of Robbins; nephews and nieces: Houston Byrd, Dean Taubert, and Ashton, Triston, and Marklee Mae Byrd; aunts and uncles: Tammy (Harry) Gosnell of Nydeck, Ella Mae Phillips of Mich., and Troy(Pam) Seabolt of Norma; special friend and mentor, Susan Phillips; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was conducted March 30, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Blake Nagy officiating. Interment followed at Carson Memorial Park.
