Wanda Fay West Bowling, 72, of Robbins, passed away April 5, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Scott County, December 23, 1945, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlie Bowling; grandson, Ben Rylie Bowling; parents, Owen and Beulah Smith West; sister, Ida (Starling) Bowling; brother, Bob West; and father- and mother-in-law, Floyd and Effie Harness Bowling.

She was a life-long member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Massengale of Huntsville; sons, Jerry (Patricia) Bowling and Leonard (Becki) Bowling, both of Robbins; grandchildren: Justin Massengale of Winfield, Kyle Bowling of Gallatin, and Jonathan Massengale, Logan Bowling, and Kalyn, Jovie and Sammy Bowling, all of Robbins; six step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandson, brothers, Bill West and Arnold (Corene) West, both of Robbins; sisters, Patricia Byrd and Sue (Earl) Henry, both of Robbins; special friends, Carrie Brown of Robbins, and Derita Gunter of Helenwood; special great-niece, Larissa Bowling; and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was conducted April 8, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Russell and Rev. Kelvin Young officiating. Music was provided by Jimmy Byrd, Sarah Byrd, and Michael and Elizabeth Carroll. Graveside service was conducted April 9, at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
