Carrie Lee Botts, 33, of Helenwood, passed away November 7, 2017, at his home.

Born in Dalton, Georgia, June 27, 1984, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garland and Dorothy Harness, and Bernard and Ruth Botts; in-laws, James L. Chambers, and Nathan Chambers; special uncles, Doug Bell and Steve Botts; and special friends, Joey Ellis, and Joe McCann;

He was a member of Bull Creek United Baptist Church;  and was recently employed at Grayco Company.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Botts of Helenwood; daughters: Allison Botts and Peyton Botts, both of Dalton, Ga., Chelsey Newport of Helenwood, and Mikayla Sexton of Rockwood; son, Byron (Brittany) Sexton of Rockwood; grandchildren: Urijah and Brayson Sexton, and Jenson Fry; mother, Alene (Ronnie) Goad; father, Gary Botts; mother-in-law, Mary Estes; brothers, Stephen (Amanda) Botts, and Eric (Jessica) Botts; nieces and nephews: Jaycee, Cheyenne, Praylee, Gabriel, Caleb, Brayden, Austin, Joshua, Dustin, Leah, Morgan, Wylloh, Jasmine, Savannah, Jace, Dominique, Daycee, and Dac; in-laws: Jennifer (Brian) Calhoun, James (Jessica) Chambers, and Chad (Michalle) Chambers; special uncle, Danny Harness; special friends: Brian Calhoun, Jamie Newport, Maggie and Mike Troxel, Scott Hiter, and George Potter; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was conducted November 16, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Harness, Bro. J.R. Massengale, Bro. Randall Duncan, and Bro. Don Hughett officiating.  Music was provided by the Chris Neal family. His wish was cremation.
