Elveada Leib, 79, of Oneida, passed away October 14, 2017, at her home.

Born in Scott County, June 17, 1938, she was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Smith; mother and step-father, Lottie and Kenneth Myers; father of her children, Roderick “Bob” Leib; sons, James Conrad Leib and Darryl Lee Leib; sister, Rose Lee Bowling; brother, Luther Smith; granddaughter, Sierra Deserah Leib; and great-grandson, Rodrick Henry Leib, IV.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Candice (Jerry) Foster; sons: Rodrick Henry (Victoria) Leib, Jr., Martin Dale Leib, and Gregory Theodore Leib, all of Oneida; grandchildren: Jennifer C. Cliff of LaFayette, Ga., Brandon L. Shoopman, Christian T. Shoopman, Rodrick Henry Leib, III, Jazamine A. Tucker, Cody A. Leib, Ryder H. Leib, Jamason C. Leib, Chloe J. Leib, Rylin B. Leib, Nikki P. Butler, Torey, Destiny, Sara Beth Leib, Nathan T. Leib, and Braxton T. Leib, all of Oneida; great-grandchildren: Kamberson, Denalli, Dawson, Aubree, Landon, Madden, and Sophia; brother, Hubert (Tootsie) Smith of Jamestown; sisters, Shirley Foster of Oneida, and Beulah Sexton of Strunk, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was conducted October 17, at Word of God Ministries with Bro. Jerry Foster, Bro. Josh Kennedy, and Sister JoAnn Gibson officiating. Music was provided by Josh and Hali Kennedy, and Nanette Duncan. Her wish was cremation.
