Douglas Bryan Wilson, 50, of Winfield, passed away September 2, 2017, at Tennova Physician’s Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, January 11, 1967, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Wilson; and father- and mother-in-law, Jackie Edward and Brenda Sue Davis.

He was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of Winfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Survived by his wife, Alma Wilson of Winfield; children: Douglas Bryan Wilson, Jr., Nicholas Shane (Dustin) Wilson, and James Tyler Wilson; grandchildren, Elijah Douglas and Callyn Ray Wilson; parents, David and Antha Wilson; brother, David Roy (Gail) Wilson, II; sister, Deborah Lynn (Joe) Stephens; in-laws: Kelsey Davis, Josh Davis, and Jackie Davis; nieces and nephew: April Fisher, Leslie Perry, Chelsey and Hunter Davis,  David Wilson, III, and Brittany Worley; step-in-laws, Polly Sue Davis and David Cecil; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 7, from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne King officiating.  Music will be provided by the Chitwood Family. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, September 8, at New Light Cemetery-Winfield.
