Muril Smith, 77, of the Station Camp community in Oneida, passed away August 14, 2017, at his home.

Born in Oneida, July 9, 1940, he was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ethel Hammock Smith; and grandparents, Myrtle and Greenburry Hammock.

He was a member of First Baptist Church-Oneida.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ella Sue Smith of Oneida; daughters: Regina (Steve) Leeds, and Pam (Jimmy) May; grandchildren: Hannah and Jordan Leeds, and Amanda and Brittany May; sisters, Shirley (W.O., Jr.) West, and Rochelle (David) King; brother, Robert (Claudette) Smith; brother-in-law, Hurstle (Treva) Jeffers; special friends, members of the Median adult men Sunday school class and postal workers; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was conducted August 16, at First Baptist Church-Oneida with Bro. David King and Dr. Randy Presnell officiating. Music was provided by First Baptist Church Choir. Graveside service was conducted August 17, at Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.
