Roy L. “Moe” Foster, 70, of Oneida, passed away July 12, 2017, at LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette.

Born in Scott County, June 22, 1947, he was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Ruth Ellis Foster; son, Donnie Lee Foster; sister, Shelva Foster; brothers, infant, Donnie Foster, and Buzz Foster; and father-in-law, Celestino Mauring.

He was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Rose Foster of Oneida; children: Debbie Foster, Avery Foster, Travis Foster, Karl Foster, and Rashelle Foster; grandchildren: Dustin Foster, Cody, Blake and Preston Harness, and Rusty and Jade Foster; great-grandchildren: Elijah, Micah, Uriah, Coven, Kamdyn, and Bristol; sister, Joan (Dennis) Terry; brother, Mike (Debbie) Foster; mother-in-law, Editha Mauring; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was  conducted July 15, at Black Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Kyle Keeton and Bro. Crestin Jeremy Burke officiating. Music was provided by Lori and Denny, Zola Cross, and Black Oak Choir. Interment followed at Marcum-Kidd Cemetery.
