Troy Mills, age 68, of Spring City, formerly of Scott County, passed away May 13, 2017.

Born November 8, 1948, he was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Gladys Norman Mills; and mother-in-law, Elva Bowling.

He was a long-time resident of Rhea County, and member of Concord Baptist Church-Robbins. He had a special love for hunting, fishing and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Bowling Mills of Spring City; children, Felicia (Barry) Goodman, and Melinda (Michael) Roberts, both of Spring City; grandchildren: Mikey Roberts, Nathan Roberts, and Lynsie Goodman; great-grandchild, Layla; brother, Van (Maryetta) Mills of Robbins; sister, Allessia (Don) Byrd of Oneida; in-laws: Paul (Linda) Bowling, and Alice Davis, both of Spring City, and Jessie (Ken) Crozier of Calhoun; and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was conducted May 18, at West Robbins Baptist Church. Interment followed at Concord Cemetery.
