Flossie Sue Blankenship, 72, of Winfield, passed away March 31, 2017, at her home.
Born in Scott County, February 19, 1945, she was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Elvey Stephens Ryan; grandparents, Tom and Minnie Stephens; son, Walter Robert Blankenship; great-grandchild, Logan Bryant; special friend, Cleo Roe; and the father of Deborah, Manford and Rubin.
She was a member of Second Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert ìMtn.î Blankenship; children: Deborah Ann (Donald) Tarter, Manford Dwayne Trammell, Rubin (Tessa) Trammell, and Denise (Thomas) Lay; grandchildren: Stephanie Rice, Stacie Tarter, Sabrina Denny, Kimberly Trammell, Travis Trammell, Destiny Cox and Whitney Lay; great grandchildren: Owen, Luke, Zoey, Molly and Hallie; step-grandchildren: Brennan Cox, Brettley Cox and Lucas Bryant; brother: Ray Ryan; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was conducted April 2, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home-Oneida with Bro. Charles Webb and Bro. Jeff Chaney officiating. Music was provided by Gail Bridges. Graveside service was conducted April 3, at Chitwood Cemetery.
