Floyd Lee Adkins, 86, passed away peacefully, January 30, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Winfield, January 14, 1931, he was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Sadie Braden Adkins; brother, Franklin Adkins; daughter, Delores Ann Adkins; grandson, Dwayne Allen Adkins; and great-great-grandson, Jayden Allen Blevins.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Irene Adkins; sons, Dwayne (Sharon) Adkins of Stearns, Ky., and David (Judy) Adkins of Winfield; grandchildren: Robbie Adkins and Stacy Marlow, both of Stearns, Ky., Jason Adkins of Winfield, Renee Trammell and Penny Bean; great-grandchildren: Dwayne, Jordan, Raysa, Christian, Logan, and Jaylee; great-great-grandson, Levi; brothers: Sterling (Jackie) Adkins, Reuben Adkins, Hillary (Georgie) Adkins, and Morris (Ann) Adkins; sister, Irene Cassada; in-laws: Carolyn (Carrol) Clark, Shirley Taylor, and Jerry (Judy) Perkins; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted February 4, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Strunk and Bro. Lee Strunk officiating. Interment followed at Adkins Family Cemetery.
