Danny Ray Chambers, 59, passed away January 6, 2017, at home.

Born in Scott County, June 30, 1957, he was preceded in death by grandparents: Elmer and Polly Chambers and Clyde and Mossy Strunk; and brother, Ronald Dean Chambers.

He confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age at Stanfield Baptist Church; was a long-time business owner of Mountainside Coal Company, and truly loved working on his farm and enjoying time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa Kruse Chambers; sons: Steven Chambers of Jacksboro, and Jason Chambers, Daniel Chambers, and Devin Chambers, all of Williamsburg, Ky.; granddaughter, Jacee Chambers of Jellico; parents, Dean and Imogene Strunk Chambers of Williamsburg, Ky.; brother, Michael (Tanya) Chambers of Williamsburg, Ky.; sister: Brenda Lee Chambers of Williamsburg, Ky.; sisters-in-law: Wilma Kruse and Cordia (Terry) Partin, both of Jellico, and Becky (Mike) Fields of Williamsburg, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted January 9, Mountain Ash Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Rev. Billy Joe Lowe officiating. Interment was conducted January 10, at Warren Memorial Garden–Pioneer.
