Ronald Brooks, 59, of Huntsville, passed away September 17, 2014, at his home.

Born in Scott County, January 8, 1955, he was preceded in death by his father, George Brooks; grandchild, Kylie Brooklyn Fisher; brother, Tommy Brooks; unborn brother, and unborn sister.

He loved the Lord and he was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. From 1999 to the present, he was employed as a bus driver with the Scott County Board of Education for 16 years. He was also the owner and operator of a small business called Brooks Investments Oil & Gas Production Company. He was a very proud and happy papaw.

He is survived by his daughter, Cody A. Brooks; mother, Arnie Brooks; granddaughter: Gracie Brooklyn Fisher; brothers: Harold (Betty) Brooks of Oneida, and Donald Brooks of Cookeville; sisters: Amanda (Pearl) Day of Corbin, Kentucky, Ruby (Bob) Snoderly of Knoxville, and Naomi (Delmer) Keeton of Huntsville; special friends: James Harness, Jim Reed, and Ed Clark; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted September 19, in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home-Oneida with Bro. Delmer Keeton and Bro. Tracy Keeton Officiating. Music was provided by Roy Freels Singers and Donna Goodman. Graveside service was conducted September 20, at Keeton Farm Private Cemetery.
