Mary Ann Bradshaw, 66, of Helenwood, passed away September 19, 2014.

Born in Norma, December 27, 1947, she was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Jeffers Sr.; husband, Larry Bradshaw; and grandparents: Raymond and Mary Anderson Lane Elwood, and Fannie Burress Jeffers.

She was a devoted member of White Rock Baptist Church, and worked more than 30 years in the WIC office of the Scotty County Health Department from which she retired in April 2013.

She is survived by her mother, Janis Lane Jeffers of Helenwood; son, Eric (Donna) Lay of the Capital Hill community; grandsons, Brad Lay and Brandon Lay; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Nixon; brother, Eddie (Theda) Jeffers of the Ditney Trail community; adopted sister, Tina Jeffers Starcher; step-children: Devonda, Debbie, Kiesha, and Randy; special nieces and nephew: Kim (Allen) Jeffers-Whitaker of Lake City, and Jared Lane and Jesse Rhae, both of Knoxville; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted September 22, at White Rock Baptist Church with Bro. Jim West and Bro. Ashley Ellis officiating. Music was provided by the Brimstone Boys, Jared Lane, Jesse Rhae, and Theda Jeffers. Graveside service was conducted September 23, at Reed Cemetery.
