Ida Mae Keeton Buttram, 72, of Oneida, passed away September 18, 2014, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born in Scott County, February 12, 1942, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest ‘Teaberry’ and Goldie Laxton Keeton; husband, Johnny Buttram; grandson, Dave Madden; sister, Reba Keeton; and niece, Sylvia Lee Keeton.
She is survived by her children: Judy (Charles) Bowling, and Lisa (Bruce) Lowe, all of Oneida, and Mark Buttram of Hermitage;grandchildren: Michelle Watson, Greg Bowling, Steven Bowling, Destinee West, all of Oneida; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brother, Ernest Lee (Darlene) Keeton of Union, Ky.; special friends: Peggy Carson of Oneida, and Ralph Daggs of Hermitage; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted September 21, in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Bowling and Bro. Greg Bowling officiating. Interment followed at Carson Memorial Park.
