HUNTSVILLE — An Oneida man was jailed Tuesday, Sept. 16, on a litany of charges after allegedly colliding with a deputy sheriff who was pursing him.
Aaron J. Gunter, 22, of Oneida, was arrested after his battered vehicle was stopped near Mayfield Private Drive in Helenwood.
According to an arrest warrant filed by Scott County Sheriff’s Department deputy Chip Gagne, he encountered Gunter’s pickup truck pulling onto U.S. Hwy. 27 from a private drive at a high rate of speed. The warrant stated that Gagne attempted to stop the pickup, to no avail.
