Edith Analee Davis, 82, of Winfield, passed away September 9, 2014, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Scott in Oneida.

Born in Winfield, September 15, 1931, she was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lela Childers Walker; husband, Noah Davis; children: Ruth Ann King, Robert Davis, and Jackie Davis; grandchildren, Carl King, Jr., and Brenda Lee Davis; brothers, James Donald and Theodore Walker; and sisters: Alma Joseph, Dollie Howard, Emma Dean Walker, and Dora May Walker.

She was a member of New Light Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons: Lonnie (Pauline) Davis of Leesburg, Fla., Harold (Kathy) Davis of Oneida, and Ricky Davis of Winfield; daughters: Kay (Sam) Koon of Spring City, Sue Davis of Winfield, and Debra (Neil) Skipper of Macon, Ga.; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Billy (Jacqueline) Walker; sister, Betty Jean (Eugene) Gardner of Louisville, Ky.; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted September 13, at New Light Baptist Church with Bro. Jennings Terry officiating, and eulogies by Sam Koon and Neil Skipper. Music was provided by the Duncan Family. Interment followed at New Light Cemetery.
