Grace A. Douglas, 80, of Winfield, passed away September 4, 2014, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born in McCreary County, Kentucky, December 21, 1933, she was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Gladys Duncan Angel; daughter, Kathy Cooper; granddaughters: Shadara Douglas, Jennifer Cooper, and Miranda Rae Perry.

She was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Edison (Red) Douglas; children: Marianne Perry, and Ona (Andy) Lewallen, all of Oneida, Michael (Cindy) Douglas of Knoxville, and Roger Douglas of Winfield; daughter-in-law, Sherry Douglas; grandchildren: Jason Perry, Tamera Perry, Anthony Perry, Kris Lewallen, Dru Lewallen, Brooke Terry, Cody Douglas, Billy Douglas, Ronnie Cooper, Dale Cooper, and Denton Cooper; several great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted September 8, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Chambers officiating. Music was provided by the Chitwood Singers, Pine Creek United Baptist Church Choir, and her grandchildren. Graveside service was conducted September 9, at Jonathan Chitwood Cemetery.
