SUNBRIGHT — Scott High made the most of limited time here Tuesday, opening District 4-A/AA play with a 3-0 win over Sunbright in a game called midway through the second half due to inclement weather.

Brittany Morrow had another big game for the Lady Highlanders, with a hand in each of Scott's three goals.

The Lady Highlanders got the scoring started in the 13th minute of the first half, when Journey Babb scored on an assist by Morrow. After that, the points came quickly for Scott, with Morrow scoring on an assist by Trista Heath in the 16th minute and Monica Roberts scoring on an assist by Morrow in the 18th minute, giving Scott a 3-0 lead at the half.

The Lady Highlanders will host Oneida in another district game on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Scott High School.
