Donnie Wade Terry, 61, of Winfield, passed away August 27, 2014, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown.

Born in Scott County, January 7, 1953, he was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Eveie Ruth Robbins Terry; grandparents, Floyd an Wilda Robbins; grandchildren, Joshua Adam Walters and Savannah Meagan Walters; sister, Vicky Wood.

He was saved at age 17, and was a member of Slick Rock Baptist Church.

He is survived by Eva Walters of Winfield; children: Buddy Carroll of Huntsville, Karen Walters, Roger and Lisa Walters, Ronnie and Weatherly Walters, Sharon Wilson, Danny Walters, and Tammy Robbins, all of Oneida; and Natasha and William Preston of Wartburg; grandchildren: Aaron King, Brittany King, Jacob King, Chelsey King, Cody Harness, Larissa and Trent Vanover, Cameron, Braden, Kaden, Peyton, Kylar, and Jaden Walters, Tristan, Caleb and Desirae Wilson, and Jonathon Taylor; special friends: Roger Russell of Robbins, and Caroline Robbins of Oneida; brothers: Rowell Terry of Lake City, Lee (Janie) Terry, and Bradley (Lisa) Terry, Randy (Michelle) Terry, all of Robbins; sister, Joan Stephens of Ga.; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted August 29, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Daugherty and Bro. Larry Ellis officiating. Music was provided by Ben Allen, Robert Bell, and Melvin Doss. Interment followed at Sexton Cemetery.
