Barbara Jean Troxel Wilson, 81, of Oneida, passed away August 22, 2014, at home with family by her side.

Born in Scott County, October 15, 1932, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Q. Wilson; father, Russ Troxel; daughter, Nancy Bankston; son, Rusty Wilson; and granddaughter, Sarah Bankston.

She is survived by her mother, Nannie Troxel; grandchildren: Denise Bankston McGhee, Kyle Bankston, Sean Wilson, and Wade Wilson; great-grandchildren,Tyler, Jake, Laileigh, Mason, Jack, and Finley; great-great-grandson, Teegan; special friends: Nannie Jo Chitwood and family, Loretta Lloyd and family, Cookie Childers and family, Butch Morris and family, Bill Thompson and family, Mary Morris, Mary Alice, and Beth Ann; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted August 25, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Kazee officiating. Music was provided by John Vernon Thompson, Jr. Interment followed at Troxel Cemetery.
