HUNTSVILLE — By just about any measure, 2013 was a successful season for Scott High School. And with 17 starters returning from that 7-3 team, many of the players lining up on either side of the ball will be familiar faces for the Highlanders.

So Scott coach Keith Shannon can rest a little easier at night, right?

“Not hardly,” Shannon says with a chuckle. “When you look at our schedule, there isn’t a lot of room for error. And if we lose anyone to injury, certainly that would put us in a bind. So, no, I don’t sleep easy at night.”
