Nellie Morgan, 96, of Lancing, passed away August 8, 2014, at Harriman Care & Rehabilitation Center with family by her side.

Born March 24, 1918, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edd Morgan, sons: Carl, Gerald, Ray, and William Morgan; one sister, four brothers, and son-in-law, Paul Foster.

She is survived by her sons: Wayne (Shelia) Morgan of Lancing, Donnie (Cathleen) Morgan of Calhoun, Ga., James (Carlene) Morgan of Dalton, Ga., and Ralph (Maggie) Morgan of Dalton, Ga.; daughters:  Rannia (Harold) Moles of Lancing, Mary Foster, and Barbara (Joe) Walker, all of Robbins, and Ruth (Elmer) Hale of Anniston, Ala.;  22 grandchildren,   34 great-grandchildren,   six great-great-grandchildren, brother, Major Carroll of Dalton, Ga.;  special friend, Sabra Potter of Lancing; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted August 10, at Schubert Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Mitchell and Father Mike Sweeny officiating.  Graveside service was conducted August 11, at Liberty Church Cemetery.
