Kaye Culver, 56, of Robbins, passed away August 3, 2014, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born in Scott County, November 10, 1957, she was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Branim, Sr. and Alice Bowling Branim; brother, Claude Branim, Jr.; sister, Clara Branim; in-laws, Edgar “Eddie” and JoAnn Culver; and special friend, Melinda Hall.

She attended Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church, was a loving mother and wife, loved her family, and was a happy person to be around. She loved her Lord and Savior, shopping, traveling with her family, and her dog, Gabby. She was a servant to everyone she knew.

She is survived by her husband of more than 38 years, Richard Culver of Robbins; children: Derek Culver, Jennifer Culver, and Dara (Thomas) Kidd; special aunt, Reba; family members: Steve and Penny Culver, Kim, Scott, and Easton Burke, Brandi and Shane Smith and family, Blake and Leigh Culver and family, Olivia and Rhyne Douglas, Ariel Hunter West,  and Amelia Burke and family: special friends: Peggy and Jasper Robbins, and Otis and Pauline Pemberton; special cousins: Charlotte, Marilyn, and Judy; several other nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted August 7,  at Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Kidd and Bro. David Walker officiating. Music was provided by the Shoemaker Family. Graveside service was conducted August 8, at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.
