HUNTSVILLE — With little fanfare and virtually no discussion, County Commission adopted a new budget for FY 2014-2015 in a special called session at the Scott County Office Building here Monday evening.

Prior to that brief 6 p.m. special meeting, the commission held its regular monthly work session during which County Mayor Jeff Tibbals reported that Grace Healthcare, the lessee of the Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center, had unveiled plans for an $850,000 addition and upgrade to the county-owned facility.

The county’s budget, which was actually near completion a month ago as far as county government was concerned, was finalized with the commission’s adoption of three resolutions.
