Evangelist Ricky Charles Duncan, 60, of Huntsville, passed away June 25, 2014, at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born September 12, 1953, he was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Charlie Duncan and Erie Slaven Duncan Terry; brother, Randy Gene Duncan; and nephews: Ronnie R. Duncan and Christopher Ellis.

He was saved at a young age and had been a member of  Macedonia Christian Center since 1999 where he served as a Deacon. He worked many years in the public as a deputy for the Scott County Sheriffís Department, and as an officer for the Oneida Police Department. He always enjoyed working in the community and being able to help others. He was a life-time member of the Masonic Lodge, and devoted his last five years at the nursing home trying to lead the lost to Christ.

He is survived by his children: Christel (Steve) Boyatt, and Ricky Chad Duncan, all of Oneida; grandchildren: Dru, Jabe, and Chesnie Boyatt, and Maddie, Nathaniel, and Colton Duncan; brothers: Rev. Ronnie R. (Eula) Duncan, and twin brother, Rev. Chuckie C. (Peggy) Duncan, all of Oneida; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted June 28, Macedonia Christian Center with Rev. Bobby Terry, Rev. Chuck Duncan, and Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating. Music was provided by Christel Boyatt, Chad Duncan, and Randall Duncan. Graveside service was conducted June 29, at Carson Memorial Park.
