Flora "Toots" Duncan Stephens, 77, of Winfield, passed away June 25, 2014, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Scott in Oneida.
Born in McCreary County, Kentucky, August 26, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson and Flo King Duncan; husband, Kenneth Stephens; sons, Eddie Wayne and Dennis Ray Stephens; great-granddaughter, Kenlee Faith Duncan, brothers: three infants, and Sherman, Kenneth, and Robert (Bus) Stephens; sisters: one infant, and Irene Strunk, and Opalene Stephens; and special friend, Samantha Crabtree.
She was a homemaker, a member of 2nd Otter Creek United Baptist Church; enjoyed Word Search books, playing Phase 10, watching Wheel of Fortune, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Betty (Jonny) Strunk, Rick (Debbie) Stephens, and Wesely (Britney) Crabtree; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, sisters: Clara Creekmore, Ruth Stephens, and Alene (Elmon) Strunk; brother, Albert (Evelyn) Duncan; in-laws: Carthell Stephens, Sheila Stephens, Bill, Bob and Debbie, Kesler and Betty, Jesse and Brenda, Carol, Crawford, and Rita; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted June 28, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. David Acres, Richard May and John Strunk officiating. Music was provided by The Chitwoods. Interment followed at Kingtown Cemetery.
