Janie Marie Fults, 63, formerly of Scott County, passed away June 20, 2014, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Born in Bennington, Oklahoma, February 11, 1951, she was preceded in death by her parents, Bronie and Evelyn Odessa McCulley Fults; and brother, Edward Fults.

She graduated from Bokchito High School in 1969; and received a Bachelorís Degree in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  She taught at Antlers,  Nashoba, and Clayton, Okla., where she retired in 2002.  She completed her Masters Degree in Education in Clayton, Okla. She not only touched the lives of the children who attended her classes, but over the years raised many foster children.  She later adopted three children to fulfill her lifelong dream of having her own family.  Her lifelong goal was to always enrich the lives of people she came in touch with.  She was a long-time member of Peopleís Holiness Church and served the Lord wherever she lived.

She is survived by her daughters, Lora Fults and Rhonda Fults, and son, Charles Fults, all of Antlers, Okla.; grandchildren: Marilee, Dusty, and Nevaeh; sisters: Betty Mitchell of Rockford, Ill., and Linda Blanchard of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Larry Fults of Winfield; heart sister, Portia Wickware of McAllister, Okla.; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted June 24, at Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito, with the Rev. Scott Melton officiating. Internment followed at Bokchito Cemetery.
