Curtis Sexton, 85, of Oneida, passed away June 6, 2014, at his home.

Born in Scott County, July 19, 1928, he was preceded in death by his parents, Hezekiah and Mildred Stanley Sexton; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna Sue and Mike Marcum; and in-laws, Lonnie and Liza Yancey Duncan.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Geneeda Duncan Sexton of Oneida; children: Donnie Sexton, Tip (Vivian) Sexton, and Karen (Dale) Boyatt; daughters-in-law, Vena Roy and Ruthie Mullett; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-grea-grandchild, brothers, Bo and Brad Sexton; special niece and nephew, Joal and Mike Sexton; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted June 9, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Barnes and Bro. Jeff Davis officiating.  Graveside service was conducted June 10, at Morris Goodman Cemetery.
