HUNTSVILLE — Apologies have been rendered and accepted in the investigation into allegations made against the Scott County Finance Director by county employees a month ago, but the probe will continue, according to Finance Committee Chairman Mike Slaven.

During Monday night’s meeting of the Finance Committee, Slaven said that Finance Director Brian Strunk has apologized to Administrator of Elections Gabe Krahn and 8th Judicial District Drug Task Force Coordinator Kim Whittaker, and those apologies have been accepted.

Krahn and Whittaker appeared before the committee a month ago to issue complaints against Strunk for “verbal abuse, “ in one instance, and being banned from the Finance Office, in another.
