A tanker truck driver transporting a load of fuel through Oneida was arrested and charged with DUI and drug possession Wednesday afternoon.

Oneida Chief of Police Darryl Laxton stopped the truck, driven by Michael J. Currens, after dispatchers received a tip that a tanker truck driving on U.S. Hwy. 27 south and nearing Oneida was driving erratically.
