Wanda Ruth Braden Neal, 86, of Oneida, passed away April 19, 2014, at Oneida Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Oneida.

Born in Scott County, June 16, 1927, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Marvel Doyle Braden; husband, Edward (Bud) Neal; brothers: Homer, Clyde, and Johnny Braden; sisters, Opal Boyatt and Ruby Owens; and special nephew, Gary Braden.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughters: Judy (Jerry) Perkins, and Janet (Ronald) Free, all of Oneida, and Paula (Tim) Tilley of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren: Rhonda West, Kevin Perkins, Cynthia Martin, Paul Blake Free, John Terry, Monica Terry, Stacy Norwood, Nathan Tilley, and Adam Tilley; 30 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted April 22, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Crestin Burke, Bro. Kyle Keeton, and Bro. Benny Watson officiating. Interment followed at Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.
