Oneida remained beaten in District 4-A play with a 12-1 win over Jellico at Bear Creek Sports Complex Monday afternoon.

In the first of a two-game series that will see the Indians travel to Jellico on Tuesday, weather permitting, Oneida finished off the Blue Devils in five innings, as the game was shortened by TSSAA's run rule.

Cole West had three RBIs and a run scored for Oneida, while batting two-of-three, while Lukas Phillips batted in twoo runs and scored two more on a two-of-four batting performance.

Cage West hit his first home run of the season and also scored another run, while Caleb Lee had an RBI and two runs scored as well.

Also scoring runs for Oneida were Tanner Sexton, Caleb Jeffers and Bryant Harper.

Lee earned the win for the Indians, striking out nine batters and giving up just two hits in five innings.
