WINFIELD — A multi-jurisdictional drug operation concluded with the arrest of four suspects here Friday, including a Ross Lane resident suspected of peddling narcotics.

Jewell Bowling, 67, was arrested as law enforcement officers from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department and Winfield Police Department arrived at her home on Ross Lane Friday afternoon.

According to Sheriff’s Department drug agent Kris Lewallen, Bowling sold Oxycodone pills to a confidential informant who was working with the Sheriff’s Department as part of an undercover operation after drug agents allegedly received tips that Bowling was selling drugs from her home.
