Thomas Nelson Donahue, 54, passed away March 21, 2014, at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born in Wilmington, Ohio, July 8, 1959, he was preceded in death by his wife, Coleen Donahue; mother-in-law, Johnna Hutson; brother-in-law, Tommy Flint; nephew, Aaden Davis; and grandparents: Julius and Helen Fred, and Thomas Nelson and Margaret Hodgson.

As a youth he was active in the Boy Scouts of America where he achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout. In 1978 he received his certification in fire-fighting and in 1996 he received his certification as a Technician Type Universal from the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, enjoyed firefighting, working in the heating and air industry, as well as auto mechanics. But he most enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his father, George H. Donahue of Batavia, Ohio; mother, Virginia (Robert) Burnham of Palmetto, Fla.; brother, George G. (Eileen) Donahue of Bradenton, Fla., and Troy Donahue of Batavia, Ohio; sister- and brother-in-law: Joyce (Brett) Bond, and Butch (Cindy) Flint, all of Oneida, nieces and nephews: Tristin Jacobs, Shanleigh Bond, Alex Bond, Whitlee Flint, Jessica Davis, Kristina Couch, Melissa Flint, Jennifer Caulder, Christina Giles, Stephanie Flint, Kelly Brown, Devon Donahue, Cody Nelson, Isaiah Flint, Ryan Goodman, George Donahue, II, Christopher Flint, T.J. Flint, and Stephen Flint; great-niece and nephews: Brylee, Caden, and Rylan; and many other relatives.

His wish was cremation. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
