Flonnie Hutson Rich, 94, of the Paint Rock community, passed away peacefully, March 29, 2014, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Born December 20, 1919, she was preceded in death by her parents, John Hutson and Deliliah Hicks Hutson Webb; husband, Granville Ralph Rich; infant daughters, Jean Helen and Kathleen Rich; sons,  Ralph and Gene Rich; brothers:  Fred, Willie, and Charlie Hutson; and sisters:  Rhoda Byrd, Delphia Hutson, Lennie Hatton, Wilda Hamby, and Cloris Jeffers.

She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons:  Mark (Cora) Rich of Grimsley, and David (Linda) Rich of Indiana; daughters:  Lillie Mae King of Huntsville, Christine Phillips and Phyllis Thompson, both of the Paint Rock community, and Duretta (Gary) Jones of Robbins; 23 grandchildren; several great-great- and great-great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives .

The family was to have received friends in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home Wednesday, April 2, from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m., with Bro. Edd King and Bro. George Lloyd officiating.  Music was to have been provided by Sherry Slaven, and Jimmy and Sarah Byrd. Interment will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 3, at Sexton Cemetery in the Slick Rock community.
