Three valedictorians top a total of 12 honors graduates in Oneida High School's Class of 2014, school principal Kevin Byrd announced Wednesday.
"These students are exemplary representatives of our school and our community," Byrd said. "They have displayed outstanding performance academically, athletically and through their other educational endeavors. We would like to thank the students and their parents for the hard work and support shown throughout their careers here at Oneida, and offer our congratulations for a job well done."
Among the valedictorians are Peyton Bridges, daughter of Gary and Michelle Bridges; Paige Ellis, daughter of Howard Ellis and Scarlett Ellis; and Gavin Webb, son of John and Shonda Webb. Each of the valedictorians had a grade point average of 4.178571.
Salutatorian of the Class of '14 is Jacob Reynolds, son of Vic and Ginger Reynolds. He graduates with a GPA of 4.14.
Also among the honor grads are Mallory Delk, Jonathan Hughett, Cheston West, Emily Walker, Hannah Leeds, Jordan Terry, Haley Tillett and Karisa Chambers.To continue reading, please subscribe to the Independent Herald.
