HUNTSVILLE — Logan Lowe scored 15 points to lead the way here Tuesday, but he was far from alone. A total of 13 Scott players wound up in the scoring column, as the Highlanders cruised to a 73-28 win over Sweetwater.
Joe Cross scored a season-high 12 points to join Lowe in double figures, as Scott jumped to a big lead early and did not let up en route to the easy win. It was a nice bounce-back for the Highlanders after Monday's loss to CAK on the same floor.
Matt Stiles scored 14 points for Sweetwater, but he was one of just three Wildcats to score points against the Highlanders' stingy defense.
As a team, Scott shot 48 percent from the field — 30 of 62 — and limited Sweetwater to just 12 made field goals. The Highlanders were six of 18 from 3-point range, 33 percent, and shot seven of 11 from the free throw line.
