Pearl Francis Bocock Hatmaker, 85, passed awayFebruary 2, 2014, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 22, 1928, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard Bocock and Anna Belle Dale; husband, Edward Hatmaker, Sr.; seven brothers: Marcelles, George, Harvey, Frank Sr., Vernon Sr., Raymond and William Sr.; six sisters: Hazel, Wanda, Catherine, Anna Mary, Rowena, and Delores; daughter, Anna Lee Judy; one granddaughter, one grandson, and three great-granddaughters.
She is survived by children: Eddie Hatmaker Jr. and wife Susan, Danny and Connie Hatmaker, Richard and Charlotte Hatmaker, Janie and Dwight Bowden, Cindy and David Marlar, Susan and Kelvin King, and Melody and Eddie Garcia; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; special friends Billie Jo Bocock, Betty Stanley, Brother Jim West, Ruby Mc Daniel, Tommy Thompson, Jerry and Cara Sue Thompson, and Sandy Thompson, and many other relatives.
Visitation was to be held Wednesday, February 5, from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m., at White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville with Brother Jim West officiating. Music was to be provided by the White Rock Choir, Daniel Murley, and Tammy Thompson. Graveside service will be conducted Thursday, 1 p.m. at the Strunk Cemetery.
