HUNTSVILLE — For most of Thursday's game against Claiborne here, it did not look as though Scott would be able to pull out a non-district win.

But the Highlanders took care of business in overtime in a big way, going on a 9-0 run to defeat the Bulldogs, 62-53.

Scott trailed the entire game before tying the game with 4:44 remaining in the fourth quarter. From there, the Highlanders held their own, forcing overtime after a 53-53 deadlock at the end of regulation.
