Linda Sue Hale Marlow, 68, of Oneida, passed away December 20, 2013, at her home.

Born on August 22, 1947,  she was preceded in death by her father, Gene Hale; daughter, Lindsey Marlow; sister, Connie Hale; and father- and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Splo Marlow.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oneida, a longtime teacher in the Oneida Special School District, and a member of the NEA, and the Tennessee EA.

She is survived by her husband, Robert (Pete) Marlow of Oneida; son, Robbie Marlow and wife, Amanda; mother, Beulah Letner Hale; granddaughter, Hailey Marlow; sister, Sandra Smith;  brother- and sisters-in-law, Howard and Joann Marlow, Sue and John Ivey, and Jan Terry, all of Oneida; nieces and nephews: Leisha and David Lowe, Ashley and John McMillen, Misha Terry, Daniel and Susan Terry, B.J. Ivey, Gregg and Kendra Marlow, Chris and Stacy Marlow, Michael Terry, and Matthew Terry; several other nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 26, from 6 - 9 p.m., in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, December 27, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Dale Smith, Bro. Phillip Kazee, and Dr. Doug White officiating. Music will be provided by Dallas West. Interment will follow at Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.
