HUNTSVILLE — In addition to County Commission’s effort to select a new sheriff following the death of Mike Cross, County Commission is also looking for a new Emergency Management Agency director.

Commissioners voted Monday evening to formally adopt a six-page job description for the directorship of the Scott County EMA Office.

That done, the county will soon be advertising for qualified candidates to fill the position formerly held by E-911 Director Wayne Shoemaker, who resigned earlier this year.
