HUNTSVILLE — Scott High marksman Stephen Butts makes his living behind the 3-point line.

Just usually not as far behind the 3-point line as Tuesday's game-winning shot that lifted the Highlanders by Cumberland Gap in miraculous fashion.

Butts, who finished with a team-high 22 points, hit a shot from just beyond the mid-court stripe as the horn sounded Tuesday to lift Scott to a 64-62 win over the Panthers in the Highlanders' last game before District 4-AA play begins.

Butts lifted the roof off Highlander Gymnasium with the shot, which capped a 4-of-12 shooting performance from 3-point range.
