Billie Joe Woodward, 83, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Scott County, passed away October 11, 2013, at his home.

Born in Oneida, August 11, 1930, he was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Ethel Hicks Woodward; step-children: David Stanifer and Connie Sullivan; and brothers and sisters: Bobbie Woodward, Keith Woodward, and Edith Woodward.

He was a 1950 graduate of Huntsville High School; and was employed at Stephens Graphics for 40 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Frieda Joyce Stone Woodward of Hamilton, Ohio; children: Brenda Cheryl Woodward of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Gary Shawn Woodward and wife, Paula, of Petersburg, Ky.; step-children: Donna Gabbard and husband, Larry, of Wisconsin, and Linda Wheeler and husband, James, of Hamilton, Ohio; grandchildren: Krista Marie Joseph, Sean Ryan Woodward, and Alex Gage Woodward; numerous step-grandchildren, step-son-in-law, Steve Sullivan; sister, Janice Harness of Huntsville; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted October 18, at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Ogle officiating. Interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
